Nursery
Infants – 3 Years Old | Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
Our nursery is a warm and nurturing space staffed by caring volunteers who love ministering to little ones. When you arrive, a member of our Children’s Ministry Team will help you check in your child and walk you through the nursery area. The check-in desk is conveniently located in the welcome area just outside our worship space.
Our volunteers are committed to sharing God’s love through gentle care, play, and early learning moments—giving you peace of mind while you worship.
Our Commitment to Safety
Your child’s safety is our highest priority. We follow a comprehensive Safe Sanctuary Policy to ensure every child is protected and cared for appropriately.
Key highlights include:
- Every volunteer completes a background check
- Classrooms always include two unrelated adults
- Low adult-to-child ratios
- A secure check-in/check-out system so only you can pick up your child
- Secured ministry areas
- Ongoing training on safety and child protection policies

Sunday School
Ages 4 Years – 5th Grade | Sundays, 9:30–10:30 a.m.
Sunday School at Conyers First is designed to help kids experience God in a fun, hands-on way. A volunteer will greet you at check-in and show you where your child’s class meets.
Our team of passionate teachers leads an exciting hour of:
- Worship songs kids love
- Engaging Bible lessons
- Games and hands-on activities
- Monthly themes through the GO Curriculum, tailored to different learning styles
Your child will laugh, learn, grow, and make friends—all while discovering the truths of Scripture.
Wednesday Night Live
Ages 4 Years – 5th Grade | Wednesdays, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
(During the School Year: August 16 – May 15)
Wednesday nights are packed with energy, excitement, and meaningful faith moments! Each week includes:
- Children’s Choir led by Theresa Hamm Smith (5:30 p.m.)
- Dinner at 6:00 p.m. ($3 per week)
- Games, dancing, and interactive Bible lessons beginning at 6:30 p.m.
This mid-week program is a highlight for many families—it’s a place where kids can have fun, express themselves, and grow in their walk with Jesus.
A Children’s Ministry volunteer will help you check in and direct you to the right area. Please enter through the door near the playground on the backside of the church.
