Welcome to Conyers First Methodist Church
At Conyers First Methodist Church, we are a faith family rooted in the east metro Atlanta community with one purpose: to share the hope, love, and transforming power of Jesus with our neighbors—locally and around the world.
We, the members of Conyers First Methodist Church, boldly declare our faith in the one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are centered on Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and grounded in the eternal truth of God’s Word. It is our unwavering conviction and purpose to love God, love people, and make disciples of all nations, in obedience to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
Loving God. Loving People. Making Disciples
Our desire is to break down barriers, build meaningful relationships, and create a diverse community united under the Lordship of Christ. We strive to love God passionately and love others sacrificially so that every person can encounter the abundant life His Kingdom offers.

What You Can Expect
We want your experience to be encouraging, comfortable, and meaningful. Here’s what you can expect:
- You won’t be singled out or pressured to give. Relax and enjoy the service at your own pace.
- Pick up a Worship Folder—it includes everything you need to follow the service.
- Inside the folder, you’ll find a Connect Card. If you wish, fill it out and return it to an usher at the end of the service to share prayer requests or let us know how we can support you.
- Worship through music:
- Contemporary services feature lyrics on the screen
- Traditional services sing from The Christian Praise Hymnal
- Contemporary services feature lyrics on the screen
- On some Sundays, we share the sacraments of Holy Baptism or Holy Communion. When we do, we’ll explain their meaning and invite you to participate as you feel led.
- Relevant, encouraging teaching from the Bible by our Senior Minister.
Our services last about an hour, giving you plenty of time afterward to pick up your children, socialize in the Fellowship Hall, connect with new friends, or head home for a peaceful afternoon.
